Joining forces with OTE, a non-profit group of storytellers and scientists who use the arts to help reconnect people with nature, Huck selected three artists to create unique outdoor performances using found natural sounds. Each of the artists – poets Suli Breaks and Amani Saeed, and folk musician Sam Lee – brought a unique perspective to the project. Sam recreated an old Sussex folk song, recording over a beat of found natural sounds, Amani explored her relationship with the outdoors having grown up in the New Jersey suburbs, and Suli Breaks reflects on how losing touch with nature disconnects us from ourselves, from social structures and chains of production.
